Yet another thing we did for writing this week was to imagine that we had undergone metamorphosis.
We had to pretend we had woken up one morning and discovered we had changed. It would be like going to sleep as a caterpillar and waking up as a butterfly. We had to write about what our new body was like and what we could do. I chose to turn into a hummingbird

ReplyDeleteI like how you have used a variety of descriptive words to paint a picture of you as a hummingbird, well done! Wouldn't it be so cool to be able to fly? Especially being a hummingbird as their wings flap at a super fast speed. Cool picture to match your story too.
I agree Miss Stewart, Stella your descriptive writing about metamorphosising into a beautiful hummingbird is a lovely piece of writing to read. Your clever choice of words have allowed me to enter into your hummingbird world and enjoy what it would be like to sip nectar and observe the world from a perch in a tree. Ka pai on a great writing effort!
